This is a Full-Time role! No Corp to Corp, No No OPT. This is a hybrid remote position for a Cedar Rapids business. Great opportunity to lead and be apart of an organization helping U.S. communities. Skills:

  • Leadership experience in training and mentoring others
  • Proficient knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET core, PHP/Zend Framework, SQL Server, MySQL, JavaScript, XML/XSLT, and HTML/CSS a plus
  • Experience with REST API/ Web API creation, consumption, integration using Service Oriented Architecture.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure IoT hub, Storage, functions, event grids, Azure SQL, Web apps, web roles, worker roles, Service Fabric).
  • Experience with unit test frameworks (Microsoft Unit Test Framework, MOQ)
  • Experience with Agile team-based application development practices and tools, such as version control, SVN, Git, JIRA, Agile/Scrum process.
  • Experience in technologies, including networking, security, Windows server, web servers (IIS/Apache), XML, web-service based APIs
  • Proven track record of leading application development projects.
  • Experience in developing Interface with tableau, PoweBI is plus.
  • Key Responsibility Areas:
  • Design and Develop Enterprise Application Systems
  • Translates client requirements into application features and deployment with a technical plan others can follow
  • Leads team in requirements gathering, time estimates and schedule adherence
  • Executes design, build, test and deployment of technology solutions (web applications, system integrations, analytics, etc.)
  • Analyzes and resolves issues associated with deployed solutions
  • Supports and enhances solutions built upon select development platforms
  • Develops, reviews, and prioritizes core solution requirements
  • Designs and conducts quality assurance and testing of developed solutions to ensure strong functionality and optimization
  • Monitor and Improve Processes Related to Software Development Life Cycle
  • Responsible for architectural diagrams, standards, technical design and operational support documentation
  • Provides input toward solution roadmaps and application life cycles
  • Plays a key role in process standardization related to source control, change management, and other aspects of software development and deployment
  • Good understanding and experience following test-driven development and continuous integration practices CI/CD
  • Proactively benchmark application code to mitigate performance and scalability issues
  • Responsible for testing and correcting bugs found before and after launch
  • Team Leadership and Mentoring
  • Mentors, trains and coaches junior team members
  • Conducts quarterly 1-TO-1 discussions with direct reports to guide growth and develop clear plans
  • Team "go-to" person to help guide team in problem solving and daily activities
  • Provides hands on skill development and guidance to team while modeling best practices
  • Supports Agile development exercises to support time-boxed software development cycles.
