Sheeter Helper

Narrative Description: The sheeter helper/cutter operator job is a line of progression job where the helper will fill in for the operator as needed. The employee will do varying job tasks that include loading rolls of paper stock into the machine and feeding the machine with rolls of paper. The employee must also remove the core and split the core, push the rolls of paper stock with a power pusher, and must be able to run overhead push button controls to feed the machine. Also, handle pallets of varying sizes and weights, and climb up/downstairs onto the machine. Operation of a fork truck is also done to move the roll of paper into staging area.What You Need to Succeed: Must be willing work 7PM to 7AM shift (the schedule rotates between two groups, so everyone has equal weekend days off). Applicants must be detailed oriented, have good math, mechanical, reading skills and able to follow all safety rules and regulations. Must have ability to work independently and have ability to be licensed on material handling equipment. Manufacturing experience is a plus.
