Works as an individual contributor to set and achieve objectives for own area of responsibility. Influences process and planning decisions with knowledge and explanations of Quality Engineering policies, practices, and procedures.Primary Responsibilities:

Use SAP, PDM and IHS (Information Handling Services) to review and process purchased material defects. Be familiar with RTV’s (return to vendor) and corrective action process.

Have the ability to interpret Build to Print drawings and familiar with basic inspection hand tools.

Have the ability to answer technical questions from Receiving Inspection, Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement and Supply Chain Quality.

Be responsible for the training and tracking of the training for the employees in RAI (Receiving, Audit, Induct) and PMRB (Preliminary Material Review Board.

Support the RAI team as needed.

Support the PMRB backlog goals, by creating a weekly report to management and by conducting a weekly meeting on the status of material.

Support audits (customer and internal) for the RAI and PMRB areas.

Use of equipment – Video Comparator, Micro Height, Video Microscope to validate the measuring of the parts, X-Ray (XRF) for plating analysis.

Use of programs – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teamcenter Visualization & PC-DMIS (3D CAD Model software) for extracting dimensions on PDD product.

Preferred to have a basic understanding or GD&T (Geometrical Dimensional & Tolerancing)

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required.

A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required.

U.S. Citizenship is required.
