Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Network Administrator at a prominent company. To succeed in this position, you should be an organized problem solver who has a can-do attitude and enjoys ensuring and sustaining a stable network infrastructure. You will develop, administer, and maintain the network infrastructure to support the business by ensuring security, integrity and high-availability of enterprise systems and related components. You will work with constantly changing software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems. A key part of this role will be participating in ongoing education to remain up to date and fully informed. This Network Administrator is a long-term contract / temporary role in the Davenport, Iowa, area.Your responsibilities in this role- Applying LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam control measures- Coordinating and executing upgrades to network software and hardware- Analyzing and fixing local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related network issues- Administering the operation of services related to all local area and wide area networks, following company policies and procedures Requirements - Understanding of production environments and being on-call- Highly capable of troubleshooting, analyzing and diagnosing issues- Deep understanding of LAN (local area networks)- Firewall experience- Demonstrated knowledge of Switch Routers- Adeptness in Network Administration- LAN Vs.
