Skills Required: Javascript, TypeScript, Python, RESTful API, and Node

This role must be on-site at one of the locations listed below 2-3 days a week from day one. Locations to choose are Des Moines-IA, Whitestown-IN, Chesterfield-MO, or Marana-AZ.

They are not really looking for a true JavaScript front end developer, they need to know how to write JavaScript for the user interface that communicates with the machine. But they are looking more for a back-end developer who knows how to write back-end code using TypeScript through a RESTful API in a Node cluster.

There is also a heavy scripting component with this in Python. They will need to script a ton with the back-end so they can generate reports and pull log files on the back-end. These reports are machine schedules, graphs/bar charts that are going to help the scientists analyze the data the machines are pulling. All of the user interfaces integrate with machines. This will be a heavy scripting job with Python/TypeScript.

This person is going to be communicating with the scientists in the lab to help write the plug-ins and pull it into a log file to then analyze that data and create a report to show them how the genotypes are interacting with the machines.
