Job Description: The Client is seeking an Enterprise Architect role to operate at the program management level of the team to design and implement complex computer systems and offer infrastructure services. This position will also address any issues related to infrastructure security, performance or regulatory compliance. In addition, the infrastructure architect will analyze and document the “as-is” infrastructure environment and define an implementation approach for migrating business processes and technology systems to the future-state enterprise infrastructure platform. Responsibilities:- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Framework and the Architecture Development Method (ADM).
- Participate in creating the Strategic Technology Roadmap, utilizing the concepts of cloud and hybrid cloud computing, server virtualization and virtual networks .
- Design and document future state infrastructure technologies, including any associated networking, security rules or technical constraints.
- Using Unified Markup Language (UML) to deliver baseline and target infrastructure architectures, including component diagrams, Systems diagrams, deployment diagrams and network diagrams.
- Serve as Medicaid Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) while working with a Systems Integrator to develop the approach for phased migration activities, including the remediation of any associated infrastructure impacts.
- Participate in the RFI/RFP process for systems module selection.
- Participate in the procurement process to select a Systems Integrator to execute the DDI phase.
- Experience working as an Infrastructure Lead or Infrastructure Architect.
- Experience with Unified Markup Language.
- Experience designing Infrastructure architectures for large IT Systems using a cloud or hybrid cloud approach.
- Demonstrated experience delivering on major infrastructure upgrade projects that will host heterogeneous technologies.
- Experience designing and documenting large IT systems containing heterogeneous technologies and multiple systems integrations points.
- Experience with building IT solutions that adhere to multiple industry standards, compliance and regulatory requirements, and/or technology standards.
- Excellent task management skills, w/ the ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities in a cross-functional environment.
- Demonstrated experience with working with business and technical users to gather and document technical requirements.
- Working experience with Agile Projects.
- Demonstrated experience with managing client expectations and implementing change management initiatives.
- Experience creating Enterprise Architecture artifacts with the TOGAF Architecture Development Method.
