The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.TISRM (Technology & Information Security Risk Management) provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company. Consistent with other programs in Corporate Risk, this program provides independent risk management oversight (Second Line of Defense) to ensure an independent, integrated, and holistic view of Wells Fargo operational risk.The Operational Risk Officer – Consumer and Small Business Banking Technology (CSBBT) & Digital Technology and Innovation (DTI) Oversight will be responsible for applying independent risk management practices to ensure the CSBBT and DTI groups are operating in a safe manner and are in compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines from multiple jurisdictions (e.g. OCC, FRB, CFPB and other international regulators). This role will monitor and oversee a functional unit within the CSBBT and DTI CIO Organizations. They will also oversee the technology they develop and support any operational risk generated from the assigned frontline technology function. This individual's responsibilities will include oversight and monitoring of frontline technology teams who are accountable to manage technology and other operational risks within established risk appetites and tolerances. The individual is expected to maintain awareness and influence with senior technology executives and escalate issues, utilizing the Wells Fargo Risk Management Framework, regarding policies and procedures established by Corporate Risk.This position will play a key role in technology risk management, including, but not limited to, the following:Independently assess, reporting, and as necessary, escalating operational risks generated by Wells Fargo Technology as well as technology risks across the company to established governing bodies up to and including the Board of Directors.

Utilize SME knowledge of technology infrastructure, application development (waterfall and/or agile), system architecture, information security, data management, data quality, cloud environments, control design and assessment expertise when participating in Governance, monitoring, or oversight activities.

Provide SME knowledge and assistance with maintaining an authoritative source library for technology risks or other operational risks (e.g. Business Continuity, Third Party, Business Process or Data Risk).

Assist with monitoring and testing adherence to policies/procedures.

Perform, coordinate, and document independent cross-functional risk assessments, aggregate risk assessments, evaluate effectiveness of internal controls, and review and credibly challenge frontline control enhancements.

Review and credibly challenge frontline plans to address gaps and improve the effectiveness of technology risk management, paying particular attention to trends in financial services and other highly regulated industries.

Assist with the development of enterprise-wide technology risk policies and procedures.

Challenge frontline activities, including those related to remediation plans.

Provide compliance and risk management expertise and consultation to independently oversee Strategic Initiatives.

Required Qualifications7+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 7+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in risk management

Desired QualificationsAbility to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Knowledge and understanding of Six Sigma methodology

Other Desired QualificationsDemonstrated experience in Information Technology (IT) operations, security, operational risk management, quality assurance, compliance, or business process management to include business continuity

Strong experience in a role requiring Regulatory acumen and compliance to industry standards

Prior experience in a role requiring expertise in Control performance (e.g. Six Sigma control design, quality assurance of control performance)

Expertise in problem solving, root cause analysis, issue management or similar experience is continuous improvement of processes, controls, technology solutions

Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships

Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members

Ability to exercise independent judgement to identify and escalate problems.

Ability to anticipate and ask the right questions to assess all facets of an effort

Ability to prepare and deliver complex data in a way that is concise/understandable

Demonstrated strong organizational and project management experience

Knowledge and experience with regulatory requirements

Certifications in Technology and/or Information Security disciplines

Experience with Data Analysis where it relates to Artificial Intelligence data ingestion processes

Experience with private and public cloud assessment and control development
