- Driving project schedules from Pre-Sales to deployment to onsite support with specific attention-to-detail to customer needs / expectations, and clearly communicating project status to all key stakeholders.
- Help manage day-to-day relationship with customer (work closely with Services/ Sales/Engineering to stay on top of the latest messaging and expectations).
- Understand current and future services requirements.
- Clarify and communicate products and services needed by the customer and align product development with requirements through Services and Engineering leadership.
- Manage deliverables to customer timelines (message key milestones and schedules internally and externally).
- Help coordinate and communicate Costing for products and services.
- Document customer requirements and schedule.
- Align production builds and transportation/logistics plans with Service Deployment schedules
- Arrange and evaluate site assessments as needed.
- Coordinate, deliver services and deployment support.
- Coordinate and/or Manage on-site resources and service parts as required/defined by customers.
- Manage and coordinate resolution of customer issues by ensuring the right functional experts are engaged and helping track/communicate progress if necessary.
- Manage delivery to customers: Starts with PO, includes integration, deployment, support and completes on End-of-Life of the product.
- Anticipate bottlenecks and provide escalation management.
- Create and validate periodic internal and external reports.
- Anticipate and make tradeoffs, balancing the business needs versus technical constraints.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications especially Word, Outlook and Excel and ERP systems
- Good cross function communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - ability to manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize and schedule tasks for the most efficient use of time
- Server hardware deployment and IT Data Center Services experience a definite plus.
- Prior experience as a program manager or project manager for hardware development.
- Experience with MS Project and/or other project/program management methodologies.
- Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Travel domestic and International expected 30%
- Multi-lingual fluency a plus
- Bachelor's degree with accomplishments/experience that demonstrate technical cognizance
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline a plus.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience managing Data Center Environments.
