- Thorough command of English grammar and foundational knowledge of technical writing and business communication standards
- Excellent writing and editing skills; able to adapt to a standard technical writing style, write clearly and concisely, and convey information in multiple formats for a variety of audiences with different levels of understanding
- Able to analyze material, discern key information, and present in the manner best understood by the target audience
- Research both technology and existing documentation such as design documents, technical drawings, product specifications, UAT testing, and subject matter expert interviews to gather information to complete documentation
- Translates technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel
- Creates, updates, and maintains deliverables including but not limited to: technical manuals, instructional material, diagrams, process flows, step-by-step instructions, policy and procedures, and product documentation for internal and external audiences
