The Valley West Inn Front Desk Staff is responsible for handling guests services during their shift, as well as answering phone calls regarding reservations, cancellations, questions or concerns. Front Desk staff must be able to operate Roomkey proficiently, as well as various additional tasks.
This position is for 2-3 nights a week, and weekend mornings. Weekday shifts are from 3 pm - 10 pm, weekend shifts are from 7 am-3 pm
All tasks are to be completed each day, or at the discretion of the manager on duty. Tasks to be completed include but are not limited to the duties outlined below:
-Clock in and out at the beginning and end of every shift
-At the beginning of shift, conduct a vacant room walkthrough
-At 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. do Knock & talks for late payments
-Sweep/swiffer lobby floor, and clean front window glass
-Strip rooms as necessary to prepare for housekeeping staff
-Hold work phone and answer phone calls accordingly
-Clean and organize front office daily
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs
-Assist with housekeeping, groundskeeping and light maintenance as needed
-Follow all policies of the Valley West Inn
