Workflow Automation Developer Location: Des Moines, IA/ 100% remote 12+ month contract Overview: Looking for someone with Control M, Active Batch, Tivoli, scheduling, batch processing, orchestration, workload scheduler, and development with batch experience. This team receives and schedules batch file and payloads for their enterprise systems and applications. They help create workflows and automation with Active Batch scheduling tool. - Experience developing solutions to handle scheduling and orchestration across diverse platforms - Linux/Windows/AWS Cloud.
- Uses requirements supplied by the systems analysts and other IT teams to create Active Batch processes of varying complexity to automate processes
- Assists in analyzing the SQL packages to ensure they are effectively coded for automation in Active Batch.
- Understand the Active Batch scheduling environment and help the administrative teams and analysts to optimize the execution of jobs in the IT environments.
- Develops MS SQL code for IT operations tools as needed.
- Works with cross-functional resources/teams as applicable in order to understand the impact of the processes that are being automated or already in production.
- Comparable experience is Python and .NET experience
