Anytime Fitness - Norwalk is seeking a highly motivated fitness enthusiast with a passion for helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. An Anytime Fitness® Personal Trainer/Fitness Coach focuses primarily on helping all members "get to a healthier place." He/She must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to create and conduct safe and effective exercise for a wide variety of participants. In addition, he/she must be comfortable and confident with fitness program design, program instruction, and influencing behavior change. This is accomplished through servicing Fitness Consultations, Traditional (1-on-1) Training, Small Group Training and TEAM Training. Beyond the traditional roles described, the Personal Trainer/Fitness Coach provides guidance, education, and encouragement and most importantly, develops relationships with all members to improve retention. Anytime Fitness expects the Personal Trainer/Fitness Coach to possess above average customer service skills and be on a mission to provide a "surprisingly personable experience" with everyone he/she meets . Trainers are responsible for the general upkeep of the club (equipment and floor cleanliness), sales and marketing for programming, and proactive outreach to inactive members to assist in retention efforts.
Successful applicant:
Must be within 20-25 minutes of Norwalk
Must have Passion for health and fitness and helping others get healthy!
Must have 2-4 year degree.
Must have a rockstar personality
Must be very outgoing and a great communicator.
Experience in sales, fitness, health, teaching fitness classes, and/or personal training certification a plus, but not required. We will train the right person.
