PMI is seeking a skilled fabricator with a highly-trained eye for quality to join our fabrication team today. Pay Range: Starting at $19/hr. or more, based on proven skills and experience
Duties/Responsibilities:
Know and apply all relevant OSHA, PMI and customer safety policies, procedures and practices.
Perform complex welding assignments independently.
Set up and operate welding equipment for all types of assignments.
Perform practical application of shop mathematics to do layouts and plan work.
Set up and operate oxyacetylene torch and plasma cutter for all types of tasks.
Layout large, critical and complex fitting and welding assignments.
Perform checks for quality during fabrication by visual inspections, using true square or center gauging, measuring and comparing to print specifications, documented tolerances or verbal instructions.
Set up and operate a variety of powered, hand-held drills, grinders and saws, as well as appropriate non-powered hand tools required to perform tasks.
Drive and operate PMI trucks, forklifts and boom lifts after receiving training and when authorized.
Actively discuss job related information with co-workers and supervisors for the purposes of understanding and problem solving.
Complete all other duties as assigned.

Educational Qualifications Desired:
High School diploma or equivalent desired. Qualified candidates must have the ability to pass PMI welding certification tests required. Consistent with company values the candidate must have the desire to learn new processes as well as continue training in given trade to develop skills.
