Commercial HVAC Mechanic
Mon-Fri (Days)
40hrs week
$24.02/HR plus $4.41/hr towards health insurance or pension plan - 6% 401K match, continuing education, health insurance, medical, dental, life, short term disability.
Position 1 - 9:30am to 6:00pm
Position 2 - 6:00am to 3:00pm
These are solid positions. We're seeking a professional HVAC Mechanic w/ good experience in the building trades. Applicants need to have universal EPA certification. As shown above, we have two positions open; both are in government buildings downtown Des Moines. Both are direct hire, full time, and long term positions. (They are NOT temp to hire, temporary, etc.)
Minimum requirements include five (5) years of Commercial HVAC maintenance experience to include but not limited to operating and maintaining building management systems, boilers/chillers.
We would like to have candidates that also have general maintenance and repair: painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.
Required:
High School Diploma/GED required.
Valid Iowa Driver's License
Clean Criminal background (must be able to pass a Federal background screen)
Able to pass a drug test
