Resource 1 is seeking a Business Analyst in the Dubuque, Iowa area. This position is a 12-month Contract-For-Hire and is a hybrid position, so the BA will be expected to be onsite 2 days a week. The BA will be onsite 3-4 days a week during the first few weeks for training and to learn the business systems and processes.
Responsibilities:- Partner with Operations staff on business improvements and new initiatives, help articulate what the business wants
- Interact with software engineers, procurement team, supply chain team, and operations team
- Work with stakeholders to analyze and document functional and technical business requirements and convert them to user stories/ acceptance criteria.
- Communicate business requirements to the core technical team
- Collaborate with business and technical team members to help define requirements
- Facilitate working sessions with technical teams to provide solutions
- Conduct UAT
- 3-5 years of BA experience
