Custom Spray Applicator

Job Description

As a search firm we focus our time on positions that we feel are unique and something that candidates would look at as a long term opportunity. This position fits that mold. The company itself is very versatile in what they do in the Agribusiness which means many different types of opportunities for advancement. However they are family owned so their employees are all very tight knit.

What makes this role unlike others is that it is for their #1/Lead Custom Applicator. This person will be put on high priority customer’s fields so they will need to be very good at what they do. This also means they will get paid more. The previous person in this role was recently promoted and has some big shoes to fill.

-Candidate will apply fertilizer and chemicals accurately per blend sheet instructions.

-Responsible for accurate application and attention to detail.

-Ability to work long hours in-season.

-Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner.

-Will also assist with inventory management, daily operations, product deliveries and customer service.

-In off-season individual will perform Agronomy sales or equipment maintenance and repairs.

-The crops focus will be corn, soybeans, wheat and alfalfa.

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000/year + Benefits

Qualifications

Requirements:

Experience running a self-propelled sprayer

Class A or B CDL

Custom Applicator License
