K&M are planning a 15,000 sq ft Family Entertainment Center (FEC) in the Iowa City area. We are looking for a General Manager (GM) that will manage the facility to include laser tag, mini golf, arcade, and other attractions. The GM will be ultimately responsible for the daily operation of the FEC, including all aspects of its functions.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to a team of people
Manage operations and finances of the business
Recruit and train new hires on business practices
Drive the development of employees
Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained
Analyze reporting data to reverse negative and enhance positive trends
Provide excellent guest service
Qualifications
Management and Customer Service experience
Strong administrative and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to lead by example
Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting
Strong communications skills with focus on customer service
Previous experience in the entertainment, arcade, or retail industry a plus but not required.
