One permanent full time position available
Full salary range: $42,848.00 – $55,140.80
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
Job summary:
Under direction, assists with the operations of swimming pool activities, customer service areas and recreation facilities as assigned. Maintains a pleasant, safe and sanitary environment while providing general guidance for hourly aquatic and customer service staff. Provides a positive recreation experience for patrons.
Minimum qualifications:
At least three months of related/responsible aquatic work required. Lifeguard Instructor Certification (LGI), Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and CPR/First-Aid/AED Instructor certifications required within 90 days of hire. WSIT required within one year of hire. Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record required. Must be 18 years of age per Iowa Code 92.8. Must pass a criminal background check.
Preferred qualifications:
One year of college or technical school from an educational institution accredited by a DOE recognized accreditation body preferred. One year of experience of related/responsible aquatic work preferred. Lifeguard Certification and Water Safety Instructor Certification highly preferred.
