Material Handler
Full Time or Seasonal
Material Handler - Lake Mills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Practice proper operational and safety policies/procedures at all times
Compare parts received to description and quantity on Packing Slips; make corrections as needed; tag and put away parts
Pick, pack and ship parts for customer orders and/or store transfers; utilize the best package sizing to achieve cost-effective freight; ensure delivery as close to customer expectations as possible
Assist carriers with loading as necessary - pallet loading with fork lift, etc
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, climb, bend and kneel on a regular basis
Able to push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis

Safety and Security - Follow safety policies/plans created by the company; utilize tools and equipment in a safe and proper manner
Detail Oriented - Ensure all key fields are completed in freight software to create accurate shipping labels
Teamwork - Ability to work closely with a variety of employees while maintaining a positive attitude
Multi-tasking - Prioritize multiple tasks to maintain a smooth work flow
Education/Experience/Skills
Basic knowledge of agricultural equipment
Basic knowledge of weighing and labeling equipment
Able to operate fork lifts
Basic computer experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and shipping software such as FedEx / UPS
