Sanitation Associate

Job Description

The evening Sanitation Associate will maintain cleaning and sanitation of production lines. Cleaning includes food contact and non-contact surfaces as detailed in scheduled checklists using basic cleaning processes and dry ice sanitation equipment. Will also help and fill-in with other basic janitorial duties. Other tasks could be assigned to this position as needed which provides a variety of work.

Hours: Sunday - Thursday from 6:00pm - 2:30am (flexibility available)

• Safely operate dry ice equipment to sanitize warehouse equipment and machinery
• Sweep warehouse floors nightly
• Operate floor scrubbing machines nightly in scheduled areas
• Maintain mezzanine floors and trash receptacles
• Monitor cleaning bushes and mops for proper sanitation
• Operate Forklifts (following proper training)
• Operate electric and manual hand jacks (following proper training)
• Sanitize production lines and fill out checklists
• General janitorial duties as needed
• Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Occupational Safety Procedure and all Food Safety guidelines related to the position or being on the Warehouse floor.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in cleaning a facility [Warehouse environment preferred]

• Ability to use computers to respond to Work Orders
• Ability to work overnights
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred not required

Anticipated hours per week: 40 (Hours are cyclical based on product demand and overtime may be required)

Pay range varies depending upon experience. Performance based bonus of 5-15% of base pay offered quarterly. There is a 401k plan with company match and company profit sharing contribution. Health insurance, life insurance, short-term disability and dental insurance are also available along with Paid Time Off (PTO) which includes holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
