Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Position Function: Responsible for the repair and maintenance of properties and duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Employment Status: Full-Time or Part-Time, On-Call
Position Summary: Provides direct support for repairs and maintenance on assigned properties. The Maintenance Technician will provide hands-on services to ensure routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance needs are addressed. This is a non-exempt position.
Job Duties:
Handle maintenance issues as they relate to basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
Coordinate and assist with unit turns, including to but not limited to light cleaning, painting, and general maintenance.
Work in partnership with corporate office on property needs.
Perform inspections of common space and resident units are required.
Ensure fluid communication with residents.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education Requirements:
General understanding of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry tasks.
Ability to coordinate several projects at one time, build rapport with residents and vendors, and multi-task in general is a must.
Ability to accept supervision and communicate clearly when work needs are beyond skill set or capacity.
High School Diploma or GED required or 4 years of equivalent experience.
