Multi-lawyer firm is seeking a paralegal reporting to several lawyers. This person will provide paralegal services primarily in the field of probate, wills and trusts. This employee must be able to work with confidential information in an office environment, be highly organized and detail oriented, have the ability to work with the general public, and possess excellent communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. Experience with transcription beneficial. Graduation from a paralegal course or prior legal or financial institution work experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities will include answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, typing will and trust documents, meeting with clients, preparing probate forms from information provided by attorneys or clients, filing and service of legal documents, and assisting clients in tracking down and transferring assets.
