THE COMPANY
Sterling Transportation Services is a family owned company that has been operating since 2005. Our main office is located in Blair NE and we have a satellite operations in SE Iowa and Watertown SD/Wahpeton ND.
THE POSITION
We're looking for professional, safety minded, well organized and self-motivated individual that will be responsible for managing and coordinating the repair and maintenance on company owned heavy duty equipment on our SE Iowa operation from Keokuk to Davenport IA.
Maintain PM Programs by providing oversight, scheduling and coordination of all repairs on equipment
Coordinate all repairs and body shop work
o Inspect equipment and ensure DOT compliance
Maintain all vendor related Repair Orders
Assist with managing and follow through with all warranty claims
Take road call information when needed and identify problems, with proposed solutions, to members of management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
High School Diploma, GED, or HS Equivalence Certificate
Minimum of one (1) year industry related experience
Class A CDL preferred
