Willis Trucking is a 10 truck, family owned trucking company based in Chariton, IA. We are taking applications for 1 over the road position, open NOW. Our main service lanes are Iowa to Arizona and Texas, with backhauls back to Iowa.
WEEKLY HOME TIME, GUARANTEED - 4 million miles in 2017-2019, only 2- 34 hr breaks on the road!
Typical schedule is 5 days out, 2 days home - average home time is 60 hours.
$1000 sign on bonus
Consistent miles - drivers average 3,000 miles a week
Drivers earned $68,000 to $80,000 in 2019.
Safety bonuses after 12 months

Excellent wages, drivers earned between $68,000 and $80,000 in 2019. New equipment (2017 or newer tractors, all trailers 2014 or newer) with Prepass and I-Pass, Volvo tractors with I-Shift transmissions. All units are equipped with refrigerators, inverters and bunk heaters.
Must have Class A CDL, be at least 25 years of age, and have 2 or more years VERIFIABLE experience. OTR and reefer experience preferred. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. No DUI's in past 7 years, or serious moving violations. We are looking for someone that takes PRIDE in what they do, and who will treat the equipment with respect. Preference given to applicants within 100 miles of Chariton, Iowa, but we are willing to look at candidates outside this area.
Our company isn't perfect, but we do everything we can to make sure you feel part of the family here. For some drivers, being home every week isn't desirable - we may not be for you. Some drivers insist on calling it a day after putting in 300 miles - we definitely aren't for you. But - if you want consistent miles, good pay, and consistent home time - we may be the home you've been looking for.
