A local manufacturing client seeking a Maintenance Manager. This is a full time position that requires a candidate to be on call for off shift/weekend emergencies. Candidates can expect to work 60+ hours per week.
Position summary:
Responsible for enforcing and facilitating a safe work environment at all times.
Responsible for enforcing and facilitating compliance to all environmental laws.
Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining all equipment within the facility.
Responsible for building and grounds maintenance.
Essential Functions:
To maintain a safe and lawfully compliant facility.
Avoid production shutdowns.
Supervise the moving of machinery and equipment.
Assist in diagnosis of machine and equipment problems (including electrical issues).
Manage and schedule the repair of production equipment.
Manage the maintenance of building and infrastructure.
Maintain records of machine and equipment including legally required records within existing Maintenance Management software system.
Skills:
Safety procedures and continuous improvement implementation.
Understanding of mechanical systems.
Electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics.
Basic plumbing.
Comprehension of preventive maintenance.
Computer knowledge including Excel and Word.
