- Define detailed engine test plans and schedule dyno test work.
- Write work orders and communicate needs to test cell operators.
- Prepare engines for testing and write assembly and instrumentation work orders.
- Analyze test results, present results and lead discussions.
- Calibrate base engine software features and help to develop new software features.
- Provide technical guidance to other groups (field performance, calibration, applications, etc.).
- Contribute to engine and after-treatment hardware development.
- Must be an excellent communicator who thrives on solving problems in a team environment.
- 2 + years’ experience in engine engineering.
- A basic understanding of diesel engine performance and emissions.
- 6 months + experience in engine or component development testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related work experience in an engineering discipline
- Thermodynamics, fluids, heat transfer, combustion, engine performance, theory or design is nice to have
