- As a Senior Systems Engineer in Embedded Hardware for one of our off-highway/Agriculture customers in Waterloo, Iowa candidate Will.
- Lead, coordinate, and execute design and integration of electronics hardware components into multi-unit and multi-vehicle John Deere applications
- Produce and evaluate possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on knowledge of engineering principles
- Collaborate with vehicle systems engineering on electronics architecture implementation and identification of electronic component requirements
- Interface to EL vehicle teams as well as to platform program management for planning and execution of activities related to integration of HW components per vehicle program scope.
- This includes determining critical path issues, defining action plans, and communicating project status to management
- Work with PV&V and Product Safety and Standards to develop and execute test or analysis plans required for country compliance and product verification and validation candidates will drive the execution of functional safety testing and documentation for complex electronics systems.
- 4 + years of experience with electrical system development for off-highway mobile equipment.
- Understand the industry direction and regulations pertaining to ISO 25119 and apply them appropriately to our products.
- Knowledge of industry Product Verification and Validation processes and execution methodologies.
- Understanding of Electronic Hardware design/verification/manufacturing processes and tools.
- Leading technical teams in the development and integration of electronic hardware.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to break complex tasks down into executable action items.
- Minimum 1 years product design, test, simulation and analysis experience.
- Minimum 1 years product delivery processes experience.
- Minimum 1 years product program management or project planning experience.
- Minimum 1 years of electronic compliance experience.
