Job Responsibility

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for all of the daily functions associated with the Production Operation. Supports the staff in plant operation. Applies a team approach and maintains open communication with all departments to improve efficiencies and eliminate problems.

Job Duties

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company's commitment to quality,

continuous improvement and respect for individuals.

Responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and organized.

Work closely and cohesively with other associates, supervisors, and managers.

Comply with all OSHA safety requirements.

Ensure all paper work is being filled out correctly and turned into correct place.

Actively participate in the weekly staff meetings.

Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenances on all equipment used.

Maintain a continuous improvement attitude at all times.

Responsible for keeping the equipment used clean at all times.

Follow systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals.

Meet all assigned goals and assist others in accomplishing their goals.

Assist in organizing product/supplies for production.

Provide a positive, motivating example for employees.

Comply with company policies & procedures.

Take all necessary actions to manage down times and efficiencies to improve productivity and probability.

Responsible for making sure all tools and cleaning supplies are returned to their proper location ter each use.

Inform the Production Manager of equipment and maintenance problems.

Ensure the completion of all duties with a minimum of waste and abuse to equipment.

Ability to fill in for missing staff members.

Assist with repairs and maintenance on all equipment and machines in the department.

Assist with filling pit screws/raw materials for production use.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Associates/Bachelor's preferred.

Good attendance/work history.

1 Year of people management or team lead experience.

Positive attitude.

Good organization skills.

Ability to follow instructions given by managers.

Good mathematical skills.

Valid driver license with reliable transportation.

A good working knowledge of operations with working knowledge of computer controlled plant system
