NationWide Transportation is looking for experienced qualified trailer/diesel mechanics.
We are a family owned company and have been in the transportation for 15 years.
We have our own yard & office/shop facility in Hudson on HW63
(3.5 drive thru heated bays that we keep clean and organized).
We are looking for mechanics who can help us keep our equipment up to date and DOT legal on the road!
We are a big fleet with variety of 50 trucks & 50 trailers to maintain through our shop, and we maintain other local fleets/customers as well.
Operating hours would be
Monday-thru-Friday 8am-To-5pm (Anything over 40hrs is Time/half)+ Bonus's if goals are reached!
HOUR LUNCH BREAKS.
After a year of successful work your open to a 1-week off vacation pay.
We prefer mechanics to have there own tools & be very clean/organized with shops belongings as well as your own, the more tools/tech-tools you have the better is for you. Nation wide will provide specialty tools.
Simple tasks we'd like mechanics to know-
Oil Services
Grease semi/trailer
Adjust brakes
Replace brakes
Trailer maintenance/repairs
Tire removal
Wheel seals
Slack adjusters
Repair air hoses
Fix air leaks
the more you know the better!
Starting wages based off experience.
