Job Description

As a

Storage Engineer I, you will plan, design, implement, administer, and support storage infrastructure technologies. You will plan and prepare for disaster recovery, storage capacity, and provide performance analysis. You will ensure a high level of storage availability and reliability of storage infrastructure. You will monitor storage capacity and performance, and provision storage for use. You will troubleshoot storage system performance and capacity issues. You will support multiple storage and database technologies. Working Environment Hybrid & Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. If your current geographical location requires relocating, Cerner will not offer relocation assistance to the specified location. #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 4 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education; including:
    • Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems

Expectations
  • May be required to lift up to 20 lbs., i.e. server, network equipment
  • Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
