100% Remote or Hybrid - IT Business Analyst (Merchandising or Retail Systems), Full Time / Direct Hire in Kansas City, KS. Location: Kansas City (Hybrid work schedule - Maybe only 2-3 days a month into office Client's 1st preference is LOCAL talent (3 hours or less drive time) Visa: USC / GCs and no sponsorship Client wants someone with BA Merchandising or Retail Systems exp Summary:
  • IT Business Analysts to support our strategic, business-transforming projects in IT service and support.
  • This role assists with the prioritization of needs and serves as a liaison between Client's employees, vendors and retailers that use Clients' merchandising systems and applications.
  • This role will work closely with leadership and internal customers as we reshape our application portfolio using business process understanding, appreciation for simplicity and quality, critical thinking, and determination to craft solutions that exceed business and technology objectives.
  • The IT Business Analyst will be part of a team that is responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and supporting a wide variety of solutions with the assistance of other teams within the IT organization.
  • In this role, you will "know the business better than the business" through a diligence of learning and documentation combined with an in-depth knowledge of the systems being used.
Client prefers wants someone with Retail or Merchandising BA exp
  • Experience working as a business analyst in full SDLC for software projects.
  • Must have strong facilitation skills, using the white board
  • Experience working in a multi-team, Information Technology organization.
  • Experience providing excellent oral and written communication to a diverse audience.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Great-to-haves but not deal breakers: (PLUS ONLY)
  • Strong data and business process modeling skills.
  • Experience in retail, supply chain, or grocery industry.
  • Experience using SQL. (PLUS, ONLY).
