This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary research team to discover new small molecule therapeutics for cancer treatment.Responsibilities:Lead oncology research programs from validation through candidate nomination.Design and execute molecular and cellular assays to determine therapeutic potential.Analyze data, solve issues, and make strategic decisions.Oversee in vivo pharmacology studies with external partners.Collaborate with core team members to advance projects.Identify and validate novel drug targets.Develop actionable biomarkers for translational application.Define project objectives and strategy with the supervisor.Mentor a team of scientists.Document experimental design and data analyses.Stay updated on scientific advancements.Communicate data and analyses through reports and presentations.Contribute to a culture of collaboration and shared mission.
