position’s key responsibilities are to manage the IT effort including
maintenance and support of all networks and their functions at NxStage. Responsible for interpreting corporate and
user goals and providing direction in developing, installing and maintaining
the information systems support needed to support rapid growth. Manage contract support services on
incremental projects or troubleshooting issues.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:·Derive an IT strategy for
NxStage to accommodate anticipated and rapid growth. Prioritize projects from an impact, effort
and cost perspective.·Ensure the compatibility of
all software and hardware products at NxStage and make recommendations for
purchases or upgrades to current data network.·Assist in planning the
long-term strategy to ensure network capacity meets future network requirements
including planning for remote hardware and communications facilities and the
development and implementation of methodologies for systems analysis,
installation and support.·Develop relevant SOP’s and
ensure all systems and data are protected with required controls, including
backup strategy, anti-virus software, access protocols, audit logs, etc.·Facilitate contracts with
voice and data providers.·Facilitate and support
improved business processes and strategies while directing the development,
implementation, and maintenance of business application systems.·Direct the activities of
contractors and consultants.·Coordinate training
programs for network orientation and application usage for NxStage Employees.·Facilitate the upkeep of
the IT Assets List for all NxStage Employees.Additional responsibilities may include focus on one or more departments or locations. field· 5+ years of management
experience· Working knowledge of
network infrastructure, including standard administrative tools such as
security protocols, file structure, backup procedures, remote access configurations.· Knowledge of databases and
the administration of various platforms.· Good working knowledge of
Microsoft Office, including advanced tools.· Exceptional troubleshooting
and analytical skills· Positive Attitude and good
communication skills across all levels of the organization, customer oriented· Experience with
