The DoubleTree by Hilton Lawrence is seeking an experienced Banquet Manager. This is a full time position and requires a flexible schedule, including the availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
-Hiring, training and scheduling of banquet staff.
-Interaction with convention contacts.
-Ensuring all rooms are set on time and as required.
-Purchasing of department equipment & supplies.
-Organization and cleanliness of departmental areas including public areas and back of house areas.
-Attending BEO meetings with sales & catering staff.
-Daily communication with kitchen on time frames, guest counts, table setup & food presentation.
-Assisting with inventories of equipment & supplies.
-Storage & security of equipment and supplies.
-Issuing of banks and bars as needed.
