Role & Responsibilities: As a Data Architect as part of this team, you help to develop and lead the cloud data & analytics architecture. You will drive the overall cloud data architecture, enable rollout of launches for data and analytics products, and will have a cross-functional and visible leadership role. You will help define the technical stack and data architecture necessary to support transformational efforts to deliver world class data solutions. You have experience with developing and managing end-to-end data architecture, from selecting the platform, designing the technical architecture, creating data architecture diagrams and support efforts to implement and test solutions in a hybrid cloud environment.- Implement Data Governance technology and program including security, data lineage and data dictionaries and catalogs.
- Help drive digital transformation supporting cloud migration of existing platforms and build out of new, cloud-based data and analytics platforms.
- Define and manage the flow of data and dissemination of information within the organization.
- Integrate technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security.
- Enable auditing and improving data management systems performance and security.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Data and Analytics with at least 2 years as a Cloud Data Architect.
- Experience with big data and integration architectures including Lakehouse and Apache Spark based real-time integrations.
- Extensive experience with cloud data technologies preferably in Microsoft Azure including relational and NoSQL databases such as Mongo DB, Azure PaaS services and ETL/ELT data engineering using Azure Data Factory.
- Experience with designing data applications in Cloud Analytics platforms such as Snowflake or Synapse Analytics.
- Experience with data streaming platforms and event-based architectures with full cycle of data ecosystem - Raw data, ETL, data warehousing, ODS, data marts and analytics and reporting platforms.
- Experience with designing database schema and database best practices. Knowledge of data modeling concepts including Kimball Data Warehousing design.
- Familiarity with API integrations and high-volume transactional data.
- Must have strong knowledge of SQL and be able to write complex queries.
- Experience with Business Intelligence platforms like Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with Databricks and Delta Lake.
- Knowledge of Python programming language.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Experience with data architectures needed to support Machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services, Microsoft Cosmos DB and Microsoft Synapse Analytics.
- Experience with SSIS and SSRS.
