Job Description
Job Title: Senior PlannerWork Location: US- Lenexa, Kansas 66215Contract Position: 6 monthsJob description:- Responsible for driving process improvement through the design and discipline of Standard Work for Planning mainly but also Procurement activities
- Responsible for leading Supply Reviews with Operations teams, designing proactive production philosophies
- Responsible for upskilling of the planning community, designing and maintaining world class of standard work and training.
- Responsible for creation of standard templates and approaches to Plan Conformance, Standard Planning alignment meetings and all KPIs made visible and measured in the same way across sites of remit.
- Responsible for creating a community for Business Continuity Planning and developing the Planning community to cover new project requests and creation of agile planning processes to meet continued moving market dynamics.
Responsibilities:
- Drive action to set up systems and governance for the planning teams.
- Setting clear performance expectations and help set a plan and execute this.
- Use various planning strategies - exception reporting, stock control, forward 2 week fixed plan, 13 week rolling window etc to establish new rules and ways of working at the site.
- Support and coach the team and individuals to achieve the desired results
- Improve the processes and come up with better ways of working.

- Regularly reviewing team’s priorities. Have the courage and discipline to prioritise the critical few and stop non/low-value-added work.
