The Sales Insights & Therapy Analyst (Specialty Pharmacy) will focus reporting and analytics for Optum's Infusion Pharmacy Sales Team. The analyst will be validating, analyzing and auditing all reports to ensure performance is tracked accordingly. Also, the analyst will help with profiling the sales territories to help optimize revenue and patient growth. This person will be a strategic partner by collaborating with the Sales Leadership team and Therapy Management team's initiatives to drive the business forward. Evaluating and predicting sales trends for OptumRx in order to optimize its revenue growth and patient care strategies. The analyst will review performance trends and provide recommendations based off the needs of leadership. The Analyst involves using sales data to develop concise reports and to make informed suggestions on how to enhance performance. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develops methods and strategies for assessing large amounts of data
  • Understands and reports on rep performance to goal and therapy performance to goal
  • Conducts research into competitive pharmacies and the surrounding market
  • Interprets trends and develops trending reports for sales leadership
  • Suggests enhancements to strategies to improve sales and profitability
  • Serves as a consultant for therapy sales strategies
  • Leads projects and communication for strategic sales initiatives
  • Supports management with account profiling requests, analysis and recommendations
  • Pull and analyze Salesforce.com activity reports and track against sales progress
  • Help drive insights for Sales Insights & Therapy Analytics Manager
  • Review performance reporting by rep and identify market growth opportunities.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration
  • 2+ years of experience in a related analytical role
  • Intermediate experience: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Knowledge of the healthcare market and/or industry analyses strongly preferred
  • Salesforce Experience preferred
  • Tableau Experience preferred
  • Ability to think both analytically and creatively
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Capable of conducting independent research while hitting timelines

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $53,300 to $95,100.
