Job Description
HCI is now hiringa part-time office-based studentProjectManagement Intern to work in our home office in Manhattan, Kansas. This is a great opportunity forcurrent Construction Science and/orBusiness Management majors to experience project management in a fast-paced, real-world construction, maintenance, andprocurement rolefor dozens of businesses throughout the Midwest and East Coast!The Project Management Intern willwork20 to 30 hours along-sideourConstruction & Maintenance Project Manager. Main responsibilities include but are not limited toresearching, coordinating, and managingassigned projects. The pay range for this part-time positionwill be $11 to $12 an hour.
Qualifications
- Ability to multi-task at a high level to manage competing demands and deadlines.
- Advanced ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook as an important means of communication/organization.
- Assertive mentality to assist with holding subcontractors and vendors accountable for work performed.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills when working with various vendors and businesses.
- Problem solving, independent personality is a must.
