Project Manager

SummaryThe Project Manager will handle day-to-day project-related activities and support business analysis expertise across the entire suite of company project initiatives. The Project Manager will work within the standards for project management in accordance with generally accepted industry methodologies and be responsible for planning, as well as managing the execution and delivery of the company's IT projects in accordance with predetermined timelines and budgets. This- includes defining tasks, allocating, and assigning resources and tracking and reporting on the project’s status. This role involves managing project teams, reporting to the Project Sponsor, and ensuring quality control throughout project lifecycle. In addition, this role involves gathering business requirements from project stakeholders and end users, reviewing analytic results with users, analyzing data, and verifying the implementation of business roles.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Project Sponsor and key stakeholders to outline clearly, the project scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and schedule.
  • Manage project development from initiation to closure with accountability for project results.
  • Complete the Work Breakdown Structure to estimate the effort required for each project task.
  • Clearly communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
  • Resolve issues, mitigate risks, and solve problems throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project scope effectively by ensuring changes are documented and approved.
  • Track and report on project milestones and provide timely status reports.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis.
  • Establish and manage prioritization, as well as resource utilization and scheduling.
  • Assist with developing use cases and conducting usability studies where appropriate.
  • Manage multiple, concurrent project initiatives effectively.

Requirements
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyze user requirements and identify solutions according to specifications.
  • Well-versed in project management methodologies, concepts, lifecycles, and common deliverables.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated history of exhibiting sound and detailed judgment including the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
