RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is looking for a Help Desk Analyst for a contract to hire opportunity with a growing organization in Overland Park, KS. The Help Desk Analyst provides first and second level IT support to over 300 user accounts across the organization. Procures, sets-up, issues, and retrieves IT equipment from all users both at Headquarters and at warehouses across the United States. Provides support to members of the Technical Services team as required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Help Desk Analyst: Help Desk Analyst resolves Tier 1 & Tier 2 IT Help Desk tickets Acts as initial point of contact for technical assistance Manages IT assets and inventory, tracking equipment and users, including purchasing restock Deploys and recalls IT equipment as needed, setting up new users and shipping out equipment Help Desk Analyst creates, maintains, and updates user accounts in various software platforms Completes basic configuration changes in Smart Warehousing's inventory management system, SWIMS Troubleshoots and repairs IT hardware Help Desk Analyst follow up via Email, Phone call, Instant Message in timely manner to clarify issues and ticket informationREQUIREMENTS: Associate degree or higher in technology-based discipline or 2-year experience required Experience with Microsoft Office 365 required Strong organizational and time management skills Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written Experience with troubleshooting hardware required (Printers, PCs, Chromebooks, Tablets, Scanners, etc.) Good problem-solving, attention to detail, and analytical skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Knowledge of basic networking fundamentals preferred Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software Experience in a help desk environment preferred Experience with Windows required Experience with Mac OS preferred Flexibility to work a variety of shiftsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
