This is a newly created role within DRG where you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Chief Privacy Officer and Privacy/Compliance team members to provide oversight and monitoring for the company’s privacy and security programs. Key responsibilities of this position will include:

Assisting the Chief Privacy Officer with the oversight, enhancement and monitoring of the company’s privacy and security programs

Assisting with privacy and security issues, questions or projects, including the evaluation of new applications, products, services, or vendors

Leading periodic assessments of the programs, monitoring efforts and related mitigation and remediation activities

Develop and manage effective and suitable reporting processes which include routine and ad-hoc program reporting and metrics

Coordinating data subject request responses and fulfillment and any destruction of information in response to agreements and retention schedules

Managing the vendor review process, client data protection questionnaires, and client security requirements

Tracking contracts and other internal documentation (e.g. policies, procedures, training) and ensuring they reflect changes in regulatory requirements

Administering the company’s enterprise privacy management platform

Keeping abreast of new technologies and regulatory changes

RequirementsWe are looking for the successful candidate to have the following skills and qualities:

Bachelor’s degree required

Privacy or security certifications (e.g. CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CISM, CISSP, etc.) strongly preferred

Strong understanding of international privacy principles

Experience building, managing and/or leading a privacy and/or security program or similar function in a matrixed organization

Experience planning and leading projects

Background in any industries related to healthcare, pharmaceuticals and/or technology would be desirable but is not required

Experience with GDPR and HIPAA preferred

Solution oriented, strong verbal and written communication skills, customer focused
