Job Description
As one of our student interns, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You’ll be part of our natural resources and planning team, working for our clients on projects with our experienced scientists. You will complete a variety of scientific tasks, perform research and write reports. Field work can involve species surveys and/or plant identification and you'll be working in a variety of terrain types and weather conditions. You’ll get an introduction to Olsson's culture that will help you evaluate our firm as a career choice.
Qualifications
You are passionate about:- Working collaboratively with others
- Having ownership in the work you do
- Using your talents to positively affect communities
- Pursuing a degree in a biological science
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Interest in working outside in a variety of terrains
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
