Job Title: Technical Project Manager Location: Overland Park, KS Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description:- Client is looking for a talented Senior Technical Project Manager (Sr. TPM) with billing domain expertise - prepaid, postpaid & business customers, various responsibilities related to technical subject matter expertise & capability on billing systems. The role will work in partnership with the leadership team and the cross-functional teams to deliver billing domain knowledge, capability & innovation. The role also include leading strategic initiatives or other special projects. The role will be the single point of contact to the Billing team for many of the projects on the roadmap and represent the team, owning technical deliverables and ensuring we are on track (time, budget, scope and resources). General Technical Project Management: within Billing Domain, taking on special projects and initiatives such as vendor or technology assessments, internal corporate initiatives, continuous improvement projects, resource management, portfolio and roadmap management Agile Best Practices: Defining best practices within engineering, especially on how we scale agile and software delivery across multiple scrum teams, locations, and projects; help align the DevOps mindset within Billing and the various feature teams. Your background and skills: Have successfully managed billing domain deliverables for multiple enterprise-scale software development projects from concept to launch Familiarity with billing [prepaid/postpaid & business customers] commerce, container, cloud technologies desired Thorough understand of DevOps, Site Reliability, CI/CD, SecOps Experience working in large, preferably global, software organizations, working across multiple locations with multiple software directors and managers and teams to deliver software releases to market Hands-on software development experience in either Java or C/C# Hand-on working experience with AWS/Azure related projects and technology. Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the 'big picture' view Hands-on with reporting and status updates, willing and able to create fit-for-purpose and clear presentations and meaningful dashboards Strong communication and solution oriented, with the ability to clearly and concisely explain complex organizational or technical problems Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Aha!, Trello Strong interpersonal skills, with proven ability to navigate complex corporate environments and influence stakeholders and partners BS degree or equivalent in a directly related discipline (CS, Eng., etc.) 10-15+ years' experience Location: Onshore, KC preferred but someone who can work on CST hours.
