Associate Technical Analyst you will be part of a team supporting the technical needs of our OptumRx call centers and pharmacies in a brand new facility.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the business by meeting regularly to understand their processes and needs
  • Accountable for all items assigned and helps other team members in the ticketing system, including following up with users and other team members on open tickets
  • Troubleshoot issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity of advanced complexity
  • Assist customers with issues of both local to site and remote/home-based employees
  • Actively creates and communicates documentation to support the team and its members
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work in a highly dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple activities of varying complexity while prioritizing and focusing on critical tasks and issues
  • Identify and drive process improvement initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between the other tiers

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 3+ years of experience configuring and deploying desktop operating systems (Windows 7 & 10) with Microsoft SCCM and Altiris
  • 3+ years of experience configuring and troubleshooting desktop hardware (Dell, HP)
  • 3+ years of experience with Active Directory objects and group membership
  • 3+ years of Technology Support experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Antivirus, Disk Encryption, and anti-malware
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas, In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Working experience with thin clients, and virtual desktop (VDI) environment a plus
  • Experience with Networking Principles, Internet Protocol Suite (TCP/IP), Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)

Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and customer facing skills, able to interact effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders, both technical and business users
  • Ability to translate technology into terms the business customers can understand
  • Excellent understanding of networking technologies and how they relate to end user computing

Physical & Work Environment:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of computers or other IT equipment
  • Ability to work afterhours as needed and participate in an on-call rotation
