Community Living Opportunity's mission is to help adults with developmental disabilities achieve personally satisfying and fulfilling lifestyles.

We are looking for TWO live-in positions:

One is for a House Manager (also called Family Teacher), who will manage a home with 3-4 adults with disabilities, doing activities such as direct care, teaching skills, supervise a couple DSP's, finances, and all general aspects of running the home. To qualify for this role you must have experience with adults with disabilities and management experience is preferred. This position is based out of Chanute, KS

The other live in position is for a Direct Support Professional. This is a live-in position that just works 3 12 hour shifts during the week. The schedule is Wed, Thur, Fri from 8am-8pm. This position is based out of Iola, KS.

General qualifications include: Must be at least 19 years of age; Minimum of high school diploma or GED; Operation of a motor vehicle; Current and valid drivers license; Ability to pass a physical and agility test, which includes repetitively lifting 50 pounds; Experience working with persons who have disabilities preferred.
