BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated PC Support specialist for an opportunity in Kansas.

Job Title: PC Support specialist

Duration: Long term contract

Location: St Topeka, Kansas

Rate: TBD

Description

This position is responsible for the installation, upgrade, and set up of desktop hardware.

Using established guidelines and procedures, installs, upgrades, and configures desktop hardware.

Completes documentation for hardware inventory management.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory

Manages time effectively while assuring attention to details.

Finishes tasks accurately, completely and in a timely manner.

Works effectively in a team environment.

Makes sound decisions, using established guidelines and guidance. Education/Experience Associate's Degree in a computer science-related field OR 2 years recent experience in desktop hardware installation

Ideal Candidate

Under general supervision, install, maintain, and upgrade workstation hardware, software, and operating systems. Configure and deliver new hardware to users. Individual must also provide technical knowledge and expertise necessary to solve medium to highly complex problems. This job is to be performed with limited supervision and has no responsibility or authority for the direction of others.
