Our team is looking for graphic designers to help us complete short and longer term design projects focused on the environment, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability
Typical work activities:
Designing of various products.
Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time.
Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief.
Working on layouts and art working pages ready for print.
Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense.
Strong computer skills.
Select colors, images, textures, and shapes to create the layout.
Select the size and arrangement of the different elements.
Use computer software to create electronic versions of designs.
Employ color, type, illustration, photography, and various print and layout techniques when designing project.
Design logos for products and businesses.
Design projects that include but are not limited to business cards, menus, signs, banners, flyers and forms.
Ability and willingness to be cross trained on printing machines such as wide format and digital press.

Key skills for graphic designers:
Excellent skills, especially with design and photo-editing software such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Must know how to use all three programs.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Following procedures and systems is a MUST.
Must work well as a team member, contributing, communicating and be a good team player.
Creative and an innovator.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.
