Job Duties / Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
ï· Answer incoming or make outgoing calls handling situations specific to each project and client.
ï· Update information in the computer.
ï· Process information when needed.
ï· Write insurance policies and submit for underwriting.
Required Knowledge /Skills / Abilities / Qualifications:
ï· Must be computer savvy.
ï· Must enjoy working via phone.
ï· Must be able and flexible to work multiple shifts.
ï· Must have a professional sounding demeanor and voice.
ï· Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Required Education / Certifications:
ï· High-school graduate required.
ï· At least 1 year of experience in the Insurance industry.
ï· Posses an active Insurance license for either Life/Health or Property and Casualty
Environmental / Physical / Mental Demands
ï· Strength Guidelines
o Ability and willingness to lift up to 20 lbs.
ï· Motion Parameters
o Ability and willingness to sit at a desk from the length of your scheduled shift.
o Ability and willingness to type on a computer.
ï· Vision and Hearing Requirements
o Ability and willingness to view and read a computer screen for the length of your scheduled shift.
o Ability and willingness to speak with clients and internal employees via telephone or e-mail.
ï· Emotional Demands
o Ability and willingness to make quick decisions.
o Ability and willingness to deal with high stress fast pace situations.
o Ability and willingness to interpret data accurately.
