Job Title: Informatica Developer (Initial Remote till pandemic)

Location: Covington, KY

Duration: 6+ months contract

Interview process: 1 round with panel team

Project information:
  • Focus version 8.1 and upgrading to 8.2.
  • There are lots of reports that need to be changed and the team is running into issues, hence the need to bring someone onboard that is experienced with upgrades.
  • Will be one of 4 Developers on a 7 member squad team.
  • Will be a part of the scrum team for the Capture Services & Utilities Tribe in the Core Brokerage Domain.
  • The team is responsible for the data capture and creation of transaction processing when customer's mail in ppw.
  • The team provides workflow capabilities that optimize the end to end solutions to create an exceptional customer experience.
  • The team is getting ready to modernize the apps and push to the Cloud.
  • They will redesign and build out all new platforms.

Top Skills:
  • Webfocus, Informatica Power Center and Oracle
  • Shell scripting and Control M is a nice to have.
  • On call rotation - 24/7 between 3 members once/month.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in architecting, designing and developing Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing applications.
  • 4+ years of experience in oracle, pl/sql with proficiency in performance tuning.
  • 4+ years of development experience in Informatica Power Center.
  • 4+ years of development experience in IBI WebFocus.
  • Experience with other reporting tools like Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI etc is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Jenkins, Stash).
  • Experience and comfortable working in an Agile environment (Kanban and Scrum).
  • You enjoy analyzing data, identifying gaps, issues, patterns, and trends
  • You can analyze application dependencies and conduct impact assessment of changes
  • You have a good understanding of database design concepts - Transactional / Data mart / Data warehouse etc.
  • Experience with shell scripting, control M or similar scheduling tools
  • Willing to participate on weekend on call rotation
