The Principal Integration Architect will report into the Enterprise Systems Center of Enablement team. This is a hands on individual contributor technical role, working directly with our leadership and development teams to coordinate, plan, develop and implement consistent and repeatable integration solutions for our applications and technologies.

Job Functions:

• Provide integration architecture direction and guidance to technology and business partners that starts and ends with a focus on delivering actionable recommendations to peers and leadership, so they can adjust policies, products, projects, and solutions to achieve targeted business outcomes.

• Work with a variety of technologies to design and implement integrations solutions between IBM iSeries, IBM zSeries, Distributed Systems, and various on-premises & cloud-native applications.

• Provide technical knowledge and experience during the planning, execution and management of our integration solutions.

• Work with the various teams at OMF on developing integration strategy, best practices & patterns, proof of concepts, as well as identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and resiliency throughout the organization.

• Prepare documentation and messaging necessary for technology to communicate strategies and plans to executive management.

• Mentor other team members within the organization on integration solutions.

• Participate in the development efforts around DevOps, Monitoring, Alerting, KPIs, and Testing as it relates to our integration solutions.

• Provide proper guidance to ensure integration services and architectures are designed, tested, documented, implemented, enhanced, and maintained according to the enterprise standards and expected service quality.

• Willingness to learn about and develop integration solutions leveraging a variety of technologies including but not limited to IBM MQ, IBM Integrated Web Services, CICS TS, IBM z/OS Connect EE, Zowe, MuleSoft and Java SOA.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with higher-level education preferred.

• Minimum experience will include 7+ years of performing solution and enterprise design with a focus on integration within the technology organization.

• Experience architecting real-time service integrations and asynchronous solutions is required.

• Direct, hands on experience in two or more of these integration technologies; IBM MQ, IBM Integrated Web Services, CICS TS, IBM z/OS Connect EE, Zowe, MuleSoft or Java SOA.

• Direct, hands on experience in enterprise design, application development, process engineering and project management. Experience with IBM iSeries, IBM zSeries and Distributed Systems is desirable.

• Understanding of integration best practices, patterns, data repositories, infrastructure.

• Analytical mindset and ability to grasp complex topics.

• Proven involvement in creating or leading complex integration projects.

• Must have the following foundational skills: Design, Analysis, Communication, Leadership, Integrations, and Best Practices.

• Ability to create and foster relationships within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

• Excellent Communication Skills.

• Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
